I'm 30 and moved to the UK with my family in 2007 from Armenia. I have always been obsessed with cars or anything that had wheels and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. In fact, my first real drawing was a box with two circles attached to it. I knew the names of almost all cars by the age of five, and have been collecting models since then.
I studied fashion design at the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 2015 with two full ready-to-wear collections. Having moved to London two years ago, I worked as an interior designer and then managed the Lotus showroom in London. However, drawing has always been my passion, so I recently returned to it full-time, working to create bespoke pieces of some of my favourite cars.

My work
My most significant source of inspiration is the line, and how it can be shaped to create an elegant or a brutal look. I love drawing a curve of a fender, creating the rough surface of a tire, or adding highlights to make the piece stand out.
My style is precise, detailed and realistic. All of my work is painstakingly crafted with Caran D'Ache oil pencils, usually small enough to fit on the palm of your hand but detailed enough to see the squares of a grill. There is no room for error when you are drawing at that scale, so I strive for perfection every time.
